Key idea: paint systems can differ in surface energy, additives, curing state, contamination and texture. A material that performs normally on many substrates may still require a compatibility check on a specific coating.
02INSTALLATIONWhat actually changes when an air-release adhesive is used?+
Key idea: the channel architecture changes how trapped air moves during squeegee application. The benefit is installation control and bubble evacuation — not a substitute for correct pressure, surface preparation or edge treatment.
03LINER / FLATNESSWhy does release-liner moisture matter to roll flatness and wave?+
Key idea: paper is moisture-sensitive. Moisture imbalance, coating history and web tension can interact with the PVC / adhesive construction and show up as curl, wave or dimensional stress after lamination.
04LAMINATIONWhy should overlamination be matched to the print media instead of selected only by gloss?+
Key idea: stiffness, adhesive compatibility, dimensional response and installation geometry matter. The finish is visible, but the mechanical relationship between the two films affects the final graphic system.
